The Chance Foundation is a Bahamas non-profit organization and the financial provider for the rehabilitation programs of the following Bahamas organizations:

• Youth Against Violence
• Operation Redemption
• Diamonds
• Platinum

The Chance Foundation is at this time actively pursuing donor tax benefits by becoming a United States-qualified 501 (c) (3) charitable organization. It is overseen by a Board of Trustees who are responsible for the appointment of the Executive Board of Directors, Auditors, approval for the annual budget, and major decisions concerning policy and investments. Trustees, Directors and the Management team contribute their efforts on a voluntary basis.

The mission of The Chance Foundation is to empower the youth in the underprivileged areas of The Bahamas to become positive contributors to their community and personally fulfilled through a program of targeted education, mentoring and employment aimed at building individual self-reliance.

The mandate therefore is to facilitate the provision of positive opportunities or chances for the less privileged youth of The Bahamas, who may otherwise be inclined toward gang related activity and other criminal behavior.

In addition to supporting the foregoing programs, the larger goal of the Chance Foundation is to facilitate the establishment of multiple Hope Centres or Villages, housing dormitory-style living quarters in an environment where the youth will be instructed in various vocations and personal disciplines in a hands-on community environment. The Chance Foundation will be building linkages with various social partners to achieve this goal.
